We made it. We're both very tired, but we made it to Bath successfully. It was nice to have a straight flight to London, but oh is that flight long. Libby graciously let me have the window seat, and when we passed over the southern tip of Greenland and I snapped some pictures of it. Here is one of the better ones. Last time we flew on Iceland Air and got stuck in Iceland for 20 hours on the way home. So not worth it and all the food costs extra on that flight. This time we flew on British Airway and we got dinner, breakfast and wine for FREE! Well, no added cost.

Unlike last time our trip to Bath was uneventful as far as the train went. The last train trip we took to Bath had to take an enormous detour because the Reading station was closed. This time we were able to take the normal route straight to Bath.
Switch to Libby :)
Once we finally made it to Bath we walked uphill to The Albany B&B where we are staying. We freshened up and headed back into town to find a flat iron for my hair and some dinner. You'll be glad to know that I was able to find a miniature flat iron. For dinner we ate at Sally Lunn's and, well, lets just say it was a culinary misadventure. After dinner we strolled around Bath. Tomorrow we are planning on going to Bath Abbey and doing all the Abbey tours and maybe going to a museum. Here are some of our pictures from today.

I don't want to tally how many hours I've been awake now so I'm just going to call it a night! Tommy already has called it a night...
glad to see you made it safe and sound and uneventful.
